A raise is a thousand small relationships. Capital Book keeps them straight.

Spreadsheets lose the thread the moment two people touch them. Capital Book gives your desk one shared book of capital, a private pipeline for each person, and a record of every call, email, and meeting along the way.

Know the book

Search, filter, and sort 2,444 allocators by segment, geography, AUM tier, and reachability. Open any contact to see the full profile.

Run the pipeline

Move each allocator through New, Contacted, Replied, Meeting, and Passed. Set follow-up dates and the opportunity you are tracking.

Move as a team

Assign owners, log activity everyone can see, and follow a live feed of what the desk is doing across the whole book.

Everything a capital raise needs, in one place.

Contact intelligence

Twenty-seven fields per allocator: segment, AUM, net worth, firm type, location, client types, lead score, and more. Filter on any of them.

Per-user pipeline

Your outreach state is yours. Each person tracks status, next step, and opportunity independently, synced across every device they sign in on.

Activity timeline

Log calls, emails, meetings, and notes on any contact. The full history is visible to the team so nothing gets dropped between people.

Team activity feed

A single stream of the latest notes, calls, and meetings across every allocator. Click any entry to jump straight to the contact.

Tasks and follow-ups

Attach dated tasks to a contact or keep them standalone. Open, overdue, and done counts surface what needs attention now.

Tags and saved views

Label allocators however you work, then save a filter combination as a view. Keep it private or share it with the desk.

Mail-merge outreach

Write email templates with merge fields like first name, firm, and segment, then render a personalized draft for any contact in one click.

Bulk actions

Select many allocators at once to set pipeline status, tag or untag, create follow-ups, or assign an owner across the whole selection.

Ownership and roles

Assign each relationship to a teammate, and govern access with admin, editor, and viewer roles. Everyone sees the book; only the right people change it.

A working book of 2,444 allocators, ready on day one.

A clean architecture you can host yourself.

A separate static frontend talks to a standalone Express API backed by MySQL. Nothing is locked to a vendor, and the whole stack runs on your own infrastructure.

Architecture

  • +
Separate frontend. A static site you can serve from any host or CDN.
  • +
Express API. A typed REST backend, run on its own and scaled independently.
  • +
MySQL database. Your data in a standard relational store with migrations and seeds included.
  • +
CSV in and out. Import your existing book and export filtered sets at any time.

Access and trust

  • +
Token sign-in. Passwords hashed with bcrypt, sessions issued as signed JWTs.
  • +
Role-based access. Admin, editor, and viewer roles decide who can read and who can change.
  • +
Audit trail. Every change is recorded with who did it, what, and when.
  • +
Per-user state. Each person's pipeline and tasks stay private to them.

Illustrative pricing. The app in this package is fully functional and runs on your own MySQL database.

Good to know.

Where does the data live?

In your own MySQL database. The package includes the schema migration and a seed script that loads all 2,444 allocators.

Can I bring my own contacts?

Yes. Import any CSV from the app, with tolerant header matching, and export filtered sets whenever you need them.

How is access controlled?

Sign-in uses hashed passwords and signed tokens. Admin, editor, and viewer roles decide who can change the book and who can only read it.

Is the pipeline shared or private?

The allocator book is shared by the whole team. Each person's pipeline status and tasks are private to them, while activity and ownership are visible to everyone.

Are the seeded emails verified?

Most are. A portion of advisor emails are constructed and flagged as unverified in the data, so you can confirm or overwrite them before sending.

Can I run frontend and backend separately?

Yes. They are fully detached: serve the static frontend anywhere and point it at the Express API wherever it runs.
